Video presented the details of the program with poem displayed on the screen to help them image the object of art they will produce. Then, they gathered group by group to discuss what to produce, and reached to one word which represents the image of their object of art.

Participants moved to Odori Park in the city center to take photos of the objects such as monuments, people, and landscape matching their image. They sent all the photos by e-mail to the station. Upon return, they were surprised to see photos already printed. They then worked on making collage by cutting and pasting the photos on a large sheet of paper.

This day all the participants and staff visited Takino Suzuran (lily-of-the-valley) Park in a natural setting, entirely different environment from the previous day. While enjoying grand nature, their image of objects gradually expanded. Upon return to the Youth Center, they started producing the objects of art combining an outcome of this day with that of the previous day. Young participants exchanged ideas and opinions, sometimes arguing and sometimes nodding.

World Stage and art finale event were the main programs of this day at Moerenuma Park, 189ha-large park in northeastern part of Sapporo. The park was designed by the late Isamu Noguchi, world-famous sculptor.
In the morning, youths of participating countries performed ethnic dances and sang songs on a stage in front of the Glass Pyramid, one of major facilities of the Park, to introduce their countries. The weather was beautiful, and the performance attracted many park visitors, making another chance of exchange with general public.

In the afternoon, the art finale event was held to complete the objects of art which participants worked hard to produce for a few days. Large sheets with collage were placed on the outdoor wall, showing magnificent view. Visitors and all those involved with the International Youth Exchange in Hokkaido enjoyed a grand-scale art program in a beautiful natural setting.
